The Importance of Being Earnest is filled with characters we love to hate. Of all the characters in the play, which do you find most likable? Why?
I like Algernon. Even though he seems like a prick, he does it with style. He's witty and funny and always has something quotable. I have a suspicion that he is fat since they keep saying he's always hungry and he ate all the cucumber sandwiches.
I see everyone here likes Algernon it seems like he has a lot of manners.

ReplyDeleteI totally agree. He is the type of guy who is like a born-comedian. I do also think that he's fat, but really funny, and like a smart-as.
