Algernon!!!!

I like Algernon I see him as been the main character even though the story/play focuses on Jack the most. He is the comedian and the one that really knows what is going on in the story. He is the clown in the play because he makes fun of marriage with his sarcasm. He has that craziness and daring type of attitude because of how he went to act like he was Mr. Ernest Worthing. Algernon also has a really cool name. I feel like Oscar Wilde made Algernon a bit like him.

  4. I also think that Wilde put a little bit of his personality into Algernon just like Austen did with Elizabeth. BuI I dont think that Algernon is the main character in the book, as a matter of fact I don't think that there even is a main character.
