According to Austen, is it better to be a Jane or an Elizabeth? Give evidence to support you answer.
I think Austen is telling her readers to be more like Elizabeth because through out the book we see Elizabeth growing into a better person. Where she was this girl who always judge people before she actually get to know them. Now later on in the book she has less pride where she is seeing people for them and seeing why they do the things they do. Especially with Darcy she didn't like him at all at first and when she started to be around more and more when Jane was sick she seen the real him and thinks he is a good guy. Elizabeth hated the fact that Jane is thinks everyone is innocent but she is realizing that you just can't judge and recognize he pride.
i agree she is showing how Elizabeth is growing as a better person and that's exactly why she wants us to be more like Elizabeth!
