Q: Poetry: love it or hate it? Explain. What's your favorite poem? If possible, copy and paste it into your entry. Why do you enjoy that poem? Any other thoughts on poetry?
A: I dislike poetry because I think its so hard to write and understand it. I mean I know that the words don't have to rhyme in order for it to be a poem, but its still difficult to write it. Understanding poems is also difficult because to me its hard to understand some of the metaphors being used or the way the poet expresses their feelings its just so hard to understand. I don't have a favorite poem because I really don't read any. Maybe by the end of the school year I'll be able to like poetry and I might even have a favorite poem.
see i did a post for you im your buddy. yea some poems I don't even want to look at because the words and the poems itself are so hard to understand and takes forever. Xp dont worry ms noonan will guide us to it even though some people might want to throw pebbles at her.
ReplyDeletewell Cristal i totally agree with you 100%! i don't understand some poems because of how the author expresses his/her feelings. its frustrating!!

ReplyDeleteAnd not a lot of people like to read poetry for the heck of it. I'm one of them, the only reason why I have a favorite is because Miss Noonan assigned it.
I agree with Crispin. Some poems are hard to understand. I only read them because I have to. I also do not like them because some are super long and really boring. But I also hope that by the end of the year I will understand them and like them as well.
