Noonan i want my cookie

Clocks and Lovers ABCB its only every second and fourth line. Its a quatrain and the meaning is time is eternal  and love is temporary. that the lovers think time is stopping for them because there so in love but time is like nope you guys cant conquer time, time conquers you. Time will always be there no matter you like it or not. And that thier love they are talking about are fairy tales, which are not real.

    Love never lasts and thats whaqt the author is trying to tell us. But then time stops to so does that mean time is not eternal?

    But I believe that the clock was just jealous at the lover because he was able to share all of these mixed emotions with his partner. While the clock just stared. I also think that at the end it didn't matter what stopped and what didn't because the lovers were able to take advantage of time and they were the one's that ended happy.

    I didn't really get this. I just know that the lovers were all like oooo love lasts forever blah blah. Then the clocks are all like you can't beat time, it never stops and stuff.

    but at the same time the lovers began to notice each other beauty so the question is were they really happy. Time can never be conquered and nothing last 4ever so maybe time is not eternal. We willl never know. Karen your title is funny lol
