Ummmmmmm... I guess some imagination. And some logic. You have to know how to get yourself out there as well as being able to yourself out there too. And nowadays we don't write books with a pencil and paper anymore Noonan, we use computers. ha. Support from my family and friends would help too, which is what Virginia Woolfe didn't have. She had support from family i think but not from any other people. Knowledge is a given for writing as well.
