My impression was that Elizabeth could care less about what people think about her and her thoughts upon marriage. It was not that shocking that she rejected Mr. Collins proposal because Elizabeth seems like the type of person that never cares what others tell her. Even though Elizabeth wouldn't get a proposal like that again I think she did good.
Naw I do not agree with you. JK jk... but Elizabeth did not think what she might end up if her dad and her brother might of died.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you Criss. She will never get that opportunity again (maybe), but I also believe that she made the right decision on declining him. It was what I would have done if I lived on those times (I think).
ReplyDeleteI think that she does care about what people think about her, and the fact that she acts like she doesn't is a somewhat of a front to hide her true sensitivity. it also could be that Mr. Collins is a weird creeper that no woman would want to marry. Both can and are most likely extremely true.
ReplyDeleteI agree with all of you girls. It was a good thing for her to reject him. He's creepy and brags about himself...boring....nobody cares about him. She needs to marry Darcy. She just has to if not then she will stay alone. which is better then being with Mr. Creepy Collins!
