TEAM DICKINSON :)
Well I personally go for my creepy friend Emily Dickinson. My reasons for choosing her and not Whitman are nothing too big or that great, but I believe she is an awesome poet and enjoyed doing what she did. Not just because she was a looser and had nothing better to do but write poems since she liked stayed in he crib for like years, but I enjoy seeing the way she expresses herself about certain things. She also has great ways of structuring her poems wich make them really unique and special. I also like Emily better because she was a lesbian and had the balls to write about certain things that other poets did not, not only about sexuality but things going on in the society.

I enjoyed reading her poetry because its kind of like solving a mystery. We are able to see how she felt through her poems.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you all the way esbeidy. She's awesome and she did write petty because she liked it and expressed herself with it. That shows a lot in a writer.

ReplyDeleteShe is unique and different. That's what I wrote in my post, and I didn't even read your before. The way she wrote her poems is annoying, but it makes her poems pretty interesting and a little confusing.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Yari. She is unique. She wrote poems for herself and from her own experience. Also she was brave enough to say she was in love with a women. What writer will say that.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Esbeidy she is a pretty cool person. She did write a lot of great poems with her expressions and the way she didn't care what people thought.

I agree whit Kandy and Vivi. Whitman is better but we do all have our personal opinions.
